Welcome to our first newsletter as part of the New Zealand Tech Alliance, which collectively  represents 20 technology associations, working together to create a prosperous digital nation.

Biology and technology touch the lives of millions of people every single day and the impact of biotech is accelerating at an exponential rate.  New Zealand is a small country with a big heart and our members with their passion, science and technology can help solve some of the world’s agricultural, environmental and health issues.

In recent months, BIOTechNZ has been working diligently on our strategic plan to achieve our vision of a healthy, clean and prosperous New Zealand boosted by a better understanding and use of biotechnology.  We have three primary strategic objectives; to connect, promote and advance.

BIOTechNZ is membership organisation and this is your opportunity to connect with others who care about biotechnology, help shape the biotech agenda and promote collaboration across industry and Government.

BIOTechNZ is interested in finding out who will be attending AusBiotech 2018 Conference in Brisbane, please drop me an email zahra.champion@biotechnz.org.nz.
