SUMMARY:Webinar: Fundamentals of a medical cannabis breeding programme
DESCRIPTION:MedCan Summit 2020 is pleased to announce the second webinar in our series for MedCan Summit delegates. \nHear Dr Anna Campbell talk about the advantages New Zealand has when breeding cannabis for medical uses\, and how we can develop plants unique to those grown internationally. She will discuss different genetic technologies and demonstrate requirements for data management in a well-run breeding programme. \nAnna has a PhD in plant biotechnology and has worked for a number of years in plant and livestock genetic improvement. She joined AbacusBio in 2007\, a private company bridging science and business and operating in 20 countries\, and has been the Managing Director for the past five years. \nThis webinar is targeted at delegates with an interest in the science and industry aspects of medicinal cannabis. \nMedCan Summit delegates have received an email with the registration link for the webinar.
