DESCRIPTION:MedCan Summit is launching a new webinar series which will feature leading experts\, scientists\, clinicians\, entrepreneurs\, investors\, policy makers and thought leaders who will share first-hand insights to keep you up-to-date with the world of medicinal cannabis as we build towards the postponed MedCan Summit. \nThis series is exclusively for existing MedCan Summit delegates\, with each of the webinars focussed on one of our three conference streams: medicine\, science or industry. \nWe’d love for you to join us for the opening session at 1pm on Wednesday 22 April. In this webinar\, aimed at all MedCan Summit delegates\, you will hear from BioTechNZ Executive Director Zahra Champion\, Chief Executive Officer of Helius Therapeutics Paul Manning\, Canada’s foremost medical cannabis educator Dr David Hepburn\, and Paul Mavor\, a registered Australian and UK pharmacist. \nDr David Hepburn\, MD\, medical director of Plena Global and Canada’s foremost medical cannabis educator of physicians and the scientific and lay communities\, will talk through the facts and myths of medicinal cannabis. \nPaul Mavor B. Pharm\, Director at Health House International and a registered Australian and UK pharmacist\, will talk about his journey from medicinal cannabis skeptic to advocate including safety\, delivery systems\, adverse effects and global trends. \nMedCan Summit delegates have received an email with the registration link for the webinar.
