Speakers

Dr Zahra Champion - Executive Director - BioTechNZ
Dr Zahra Champion, is the Executive Director of BioTechNZ (formally known as NZBIO) and Assistant Director of the Institute for Innovation in Biotechnology (IIB).  She has had senior management and governance roles, providing advice and leading projects in food and beverage, biotechnology, agriculture, health, and information technology both in New Zealand and overseas. Zahra holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Medical and Health Sciences).
Dr Trevor Stuthridge - Managing Director - Cetogenix
Trevor has had leadership roles in Scion and Agresearch, and in Canada he was the Executive Vice President for FPInnovations – the world’s largest not-for-profit forestry sector research organization. In addition Trevor also led change programs to improve interdisciplinary collaboration and to drive innovation, including creating a pan-Canadian bioeconomy academic network, project concepts for digitalization of the natural resources sectors.
